We will delve into mood, anxiety, psychotic, and personality disorders and learn about different treatment approaches in this introduction to abnormal psychology. Students will debate ethical issues and stigmas related to psychological disorders, discuss the implications of diagnostic labeling, and examine cross-cultural differences in diagnostic practice. Through hands-on activities, students will apply concepts to be able to identify and discuss behavioral disorders and proper forms of treatment for individuals dealing with those disorders.
