Course Description

This course will provide students with a fundamental understanding of the principles that drive economic systems and decision making through the prism of pop culture. We will explore microeconomic and macroeconomic topics and analysis, including supply and demand dynamics, the division of labor, opportunity costs, fiscal policy, market behavior, and private versus public sector. Through a blend of theoretical principles and real-life examples, students will develop the analytic tools necessary to form their own opinions, and make informed decisions on economic issues.
