Course Description
Using UCLA's state of the art sound and recording digital lab is equipped with multiple editing and recording stations, mics, amps, keyboards and all you'll need to create your own sounds with Ableton Live, Pro Tools and Adobe Creative Cloud at your fingertips. This equipment allows students to produce original pieces of music and find their own style of mixing. Students are encouraged to make their own productions and bring their own style to the classroom. With hands-on access to this exclusive recording technology, you will learn to identify and define music production terminology and concepts, and demonstrate proper techniques to mix music. Create your own original musical masterpiece!
