This transformative two-week service-learning course is designed for high school students eager to make a difference. Participants will engage with themes of global interdependence and cultural awareness while exploring various interpretations of what it means to be a global citizen. Through project-based learning, students will develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of some of the world’s most pressing issues. As part of the course, students will complete 6 hours of community service, applying their learning in real-world contexts. Students will walk away from the course empowered to take action and contribute positively to their communities and the world at large.
