Course Description
Students will explore fundamental astronomical concepts and deepen their understanding of topics such as planetary motion, light pollution, and the life cycle of stars. Students will examine how research in space, planets, and the solar system influences life on earth, from climate patterns to potential resources. A highlight of the course will be a visit to the Dyer Observatory, where students will meet with professional astronomers and learn about current research and discoveries.
